We organised Muhu Print 4th time this year.
22 artists from Estonia and abroad gathered on Muhu island, A.I. Art residency to work together with printmaking materials.
This time it was extra-tough for me as not only organising the event in general, I organised the main workshop, serigraphy introducing and practising workshop for the participants. Cyanotype workshop was leaded by Kadri Toom, the event in general was organised by Lembe Ruben.
For the workshop I started from building up a whole screeprinting studio equipment suitable for transporting to 20 artists working in the wild nature. The preparations were massive, including building a brand new light-table and screenprint frames, but the end result was great!
Lot of many-layered works were produced in Muhu on many different materials. Artists with different knowledge and experience-level did beautiful experiments on site, also mixing the techniques with cyanotype and other mediums.
As intended!
Thank you, Mari, for being my assistent in Muhu! We had a great office there!
Thank you, my husband, for turning out to be so skillful carpenter!
Thank you, Kadri and Lembe, for organising such a succesful workshop + the exhibitions after!
